Dr. Phuong Tran takes a holistic, research-informed approach to psychiatric care. He integrates evidence-based medication strategies with psychosocial and psychodynamic interventions, always considering patients’ past experiences, current circumstances, and genetic factors.
Dr. Tran treats people across the lifespan (ages 6 through geriatrics) and is fluent in Vietnamese. Outside of work he enjoys home renovation, travel, gardening, and is a devoted Lakers fan who pursues personal and financial self-improvement.
Since 2016, Dr. Linda Trinh has provided compassionate, comprehensive psychiatric care across the lifespan. She evaluates and treats a wide range of diagnoses including mood disorders, anxiety, ADHD, trauma-related conditions, and psychotic disorders and is fluent in Vietnamese.
Dr. Trinh emphasizes empathy, collaboration, and long-term recovery in her practice. Outside the clinic she enjoys dance, volleyball, and the calming color teal.
Jada offers patient-centered medication management with an emphasis on shared decision-making and open communication. She works with patients of all ages (5 through geriatrics) and across diagnoses, creating a calming, collaborative environment where individuals feel heard rather than rushed.
Jada is passionate about improving quality of life through thoughtful, supportive care. In her free time she enjoys musical theatre, traveling, and spoiling her Maltese.
Maria holds a Master of Science from Azusa Pacific University and brings more than a decade of inpatient psychiatric nursing experience—as an RN, nursing manager, and infection control preventionist. Fluent in Spanish, she is committed to culturally sensitive, compassionate care for patients of all ages and gender identities.
Maria is an active member of the American Psychiatric Nurses Association and Sigma Theta Tau, and she takes pride in building strong, trusting relationships with her patients.
Michelle is a Board Certified Nurse Practitioner in Family Medicine. She received her Master’s of Science in Nursing from Charles R. Drew University. After graduating, she worked at an Urgent Care and joined a Medical Group in Los Angeles, California. Her experience showed the gap between medical and psychiatric care and how that connection is often ignored. This encouraged Michelle to pursue psychiatric- mental health.
Before joining Progeny Psychiatric Group, Michelle’s experience includes several years of working for a Psychiatric Group in Calabasas, CA where she saw young to older adults including dementia related cases. Her heart and passion is not only in caring for others but assisting patient’s in transitioning to wellness. Michelle loves to travel the world and she loves being exposed to different cultures and learning about their food. She likes being outdoors, hiking, and camping. Michelle currently lives in Huntington Beach, CA with her husband and their 2 children.
Dylan is a board-certified Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner who earned his MS in Nursing from California State University, Long Beach. After four years working in acute psychiatric hospital settings as an RN, he now provides inclusive, evidence-based care for mood disorders, anxiety, neurodevelopmental conditions, and dementia-related issues.
A Huntington Beach native, Dylan balances clinical work with surfing, training, camping, and following sports and above all he cherishes being a dad.
Helen is a board-certified psychiatric mental health nurse practitioner with a Master of Science from Cal State Long Beach and more than a decade of mental health experience. She has worked in acute psychiatric hospitals and home health settings and treats patients of all ages, cultures, and identities.
Outside work Helen enjoys family time with her teenage son and spoiling her cats.
Dr. Jason Kellogg is a highly respected psychiatrist and Medical Director with extensive experience in clinical care, leadership, and research. He graduated Summa Cum Laude from the University of Pittsburgh with a Bachelor’s degree in Chemistry and earned his medical degree from Wright State University in Dayton, Ohio. He later completed his psychiatry residency training at the University of California, Irvine, where he also served as Chief Resident.
Dr. Kellogg has held multiple leadership roles throughout his career, including serving two terms as Chairman of the Department of Neurology and Psychiatry at Hoag Hospital in Newport Beach, California. He currently serves as Chief of Staff at Newport Bay Hospital, reflecting his continued commitment to excellence in patient care and medical leadership.
In addition to his clinical practice, Dr. Kellogg has been a principal investigator for 22 clinical research protocols and has received two community service awards recognizing his dedication as a physician. Outside of medicine, he enjoys spending time with his family and is a proud father of three daughters.
